President/Chief Executive Officer

Ed Cuccio

Ed is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Resource One and has over 45 years of sales and management experience, most of which have been in the grocery and retail industries. He started his career in the U.S. Marine Corps and then worked as a trader on Wall Street. Ed settled in the Midwest, working in sales and then as a sales manager for a local dairy outside St. Louis, where he developed the first milk program for Aldi and grew the dairy into a regional powerhouse.  In 1987, he left to start his own company, which became Resource One in 1991, to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the private label business. Through innovation, perseverance, and the values instilled in him by the Marines, he expanded the company into dozens of product lines, with numerous manufacturers and retailers, and hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

Ed is involved in a number of philanthropic initiatives in the St. Louis Community. Today, Ed continues to be a driving force of the company by providing leadership and the vision to grow sales and profits for the company and its customers. He is a living reminder that "it’s not about activity, it’s about results" and "it’s not over until it’s over and then it’s still not over."
